You might have heard me, in the last few weeks, talking about our Downtown Re-Development Plan. This video I find very interesting. It speaks to what makes a downtown unique and a place where people want to go. If I'm re-elected, I hope to include some of these features in our Downtown Re-Development Plan.

No tax dollars were harmed in the making of this website.
While this might be a bit of a radical idea, can you image how desirable our main street would be if we revitalized it, had some form of parking located at one or both ends (I admit I have no idea how that would be possible) and instead of having 2 lanes and a parking lane on either side used that road space to extend our sidewalks, add in bike lanes and then had a green strip with trees down the middle? Crazy, maybe. Beautiful and something to be potentially known for, I think so.
