It has been some time since I have last posted on whats going on in the City of Leduc. I have been extremely busy with Council and Committee work and finishing my final few classes in University. At the beginning of July I start my final semester of University and look forward to having more time to post on my website about issues related to the City of Leduc and expanding into commenting on Provincial and Federal issues as well. Till that time, I will post as often as possible, but likely not as frequently as I would like to.
I first would like to congratulate Iris Yanish, the long time executive director of the Leduc Chamber of Commerce, on her well deserved retirement. Iris has been a wonderful example of community spirit and 'anything is possible' attitude. I wish her and her and her husband all the best in the coming years.
This Wednesday June 22nd, the Downtown Plan and MDP (Municipal Development Plan) will have an Open House for anyone to comment on the plans contents. I have worked on this committee along side Alderman Lazowski and am very pleased with its progress. I encourage anyone to come down to the Best Western if they would like to participate in the open house.

No tax dollars were harmed in the making of this website.
